In the end, how many people now think that pirating is a good thing?

I have an eye patch....does that make me a pirate?

I think "gifting" music to others after you bought it is not pirating...........I think pirating really is a non-existant dillusion of reality...........music is "sound" sound is free. Just because some small band of people want to give away $$ to a band to "hear" their music doesn't mean that it is right for everyone.
True musicians make music cause they "love the passion of playing music" and enjoy anyone hearing their songs. They expect no $ for it. The music "indistry" is a joke & a bunch of racist pirates themselves.

But...........I have never downloaded any free music ever nor have i ever stolen a CD ...........I buy my music cause i have to.

Oh, and Publisher are evil munchkins with only their best interests at heart...............Game developers are stupid to use them ever.

What is funny about the music pirating is that it has been going on as long people were able to record/make copies.

What caused the RIAA (and the MPAA) to go to war was the distribution system. It was too fast, so it could not be ignored. It was no longer copying your neighbors or friends media at a 1:1 ratio, it was you taking a copy of someone you never met, along with maybe 14 others at the same time.

Which the article leads to and I am sure the publishers in this instance do not like. Regardless of whether we or the publishers like programs like Steam, they are cheap, effective and currently offer the most profit to the proper people.
