Ok my gaming router sux & is crappin out on me.

What Lynxis router do I need to get? Jast a normal one with all the ports I need?

I was going Lynxis only cause my Modem is a Lynxis.

I use a Lynksys ATM but I also have used a D-link and never had any problems with either...Setup on both are pretty simple and straight forward.

If you get a new linksys router stay away from teh wireless N type of you wont be able to get into mech. The best luck is with the G wireless. You can also download DXPort from puffinsoft and then you only need to worry about on set of port ranges.

So if i get the cheap-o (49$) 4 port non wireless linksys I'm good?
My gaming one is that wireless N crap.......I do not even use wireles anymore.

Yes the simple 4 port will do the trick, why have wireless if you don't need it lol

i got an older d-link with 4 port and wireless and don't have any problems hardly ever i should say,,,been usein it for almost 5 years still works great have had four comps and a 2 360's hooked up to it and still no prob...and yes it's wireless G and i think when i bought it it was only like 50 bucks at the time
