Last night I went on some in MWLL and was dissapointed to only see 3 of the 20 or so servers with just 2 having 15 or more people actually playing?
When I was on a month or so ago there were at least 5 -8 servers running MWLL and most games were filling up.
Last night there were literally 35 people playin this mod. Is that the comunity? 35-45 people?

Yeah, petering off a bit. Last few nights only one server was full, two others were minimal.
-Not many maps, no camo, no Mechlab, no well ...you know. It has a good first impression though, I was on the map Extremity the very first time I played, well, I was quite impressed to say the least. I like Sandblasted as well. But how long can you keep going on two maps... a few weeks? Variety is needed. Say 20 maps, or 15 to be fair, would hold my interest. A few DDM buddy's to play with, that would go a long way as well. Overall I like the MOD, but the DDM is drying up as well it seems, ever since the "Schism" with the \caused by the, ZME individuals. Are they even still playing? A few of you are over there too [don't deny it], so you tell me? Used to be, whenever I went on coms that someone was around, even just to talk. Now, quite nearly always, it's just empty. Without any incentive to try and make a "go" of being a community, we'll never be able to have one. We have to "try" a little here, get together once in a while, have some fun. Maybe were [the DDM] is just going through a bit of a time out. We'll have to see. Or perhaps we're not really all that into Mech games anymore? Seems that we all "talk" a good game, but do we ever get together & play it?

I still think we could all have a great time in Warhammer if we bucked up and all played. A few of us have accounts. Maybe we should plan to all play SWTOR the new starwars mmo together or something in 2011 when it releases? I just se an MMO being more fun for DDM cause they are so huge & fun. I dunno ?

I am a fan of the KOTOR games, I own them both, ...but I'm not such a fan of $14.95 a month to play it. D&DO was free, Graphics were way better than Warhammer for example, (but I haven't got a lot of experience with MMO's), but unlike NeverWinter Nights 2, there is no real story arc to it, or point really. ...So I lost interest. I played the Old Republic games right through a coupla times, NWN2, and NWN 1 which I just love. (-The ToolSet is so fun.)
I guess what I'm saying, is that the Internet (besides my $30odd bucks to have it), is full of good free stuff. Music \Movie \Game Downloads, free on-line games (& yes a million MMO's), and a lot of other stuff besides porn(?)... Most of my Mp3 collection is from Limewire. But PAYING for it seems a bit stupid somehow. When there are just as good free games. I just can't get over peoples NEED to pay for things all the time. >>> Your not stealing anything people, just because you watch a show on SurftheChannel! Yet people still pay for these "Internet TV" offers, just a one-time payment of $49.95, and you get unlimited access!!! <<< Bullshit... If SW-KOTOR is free, I'm there. Like Lucas needs any more money? WTF? This game could easily be free. But he, like most of our consumerist-capitalist society is suffering from the disease called "GREED," and needs to seriously get over himself. I've seen all the previews, it looks cool enough, but it's not worth $14.95 x 12 = $179.40 per year, sorry. -Cause I'll loose interest long before then. Anyways, just my thoughts.

Dont worry too much about it man..... DDM goes thru these "Quiet Times" Every few Years where we really only post something on the forum once in a while. Then something will come out that grabs everyones attention or Con will come around and BOOM!!! You cant shut these bitches up for Shit!! :P Anyway.....Everyone should just be marking time till......DIABLO 3!!!!!!!!!! LOL

i am haveing trouble gettin my new video card installed (second vid card in 2 months that is) otherwise i might hop on ,,but if there is only 2 maps yeah that would get tired real quick hence the reason i tend to just stick with te 360 cause with that is all you do is buy the damn game put it in ,,get a small update AUTOMATICALLY mind you and POW your playin a game with lots of people
just that easy whereas with the comp it's get a new vid card fight with it to get it installed just to find out it won't work with your comp cause you need a card that has the power but only needs 1 slot instead of 2,, so you go out get that card and then find out that the power supply can only power 1 power hook up unless you buy a splitter (which i'm still waiting on) so you can go and play a game that you need 1 game to run a mod which needs patches and updates for ,, so you fight and hassle with that :cry: just to find out that after you finally get all that done noone is playing the game that you just did all that stuff for,,kinda takes the magic out of it and makes you want to live in a log cabin with a damn bear and a wombat as friends yes i am tired of PC bullshit after 17 years of dealing with them oh by the way for anyone playing modern warfare 2 on 360 ,,or forza 3,,or battlefield bad company 2 ,,on the 360 my gamer tag is of course ,,,,Metalfiend as if you didn't already guess hit me up lets kill or race or whatever

There are 5 official maps and three user maps. Most servers only run the official maps.
You don't have to run a bunch of patches and updates like we used to do with battlefield. My download version of crysis is up to date, with no patches. MWLL install is one download, one install.

I bought the maximum edition, and it is up-to-date. Installing from the disk you have two patches, and no future ones to worry about besides updates to MWLL.

That's cool. BioWare is making the game Not Lucas Arts btw. Also, don't you spent about 179$ a year on games anyways. I mean 2 cosol (XboX)games cost about that and any new games cost $ upfront. For me it is cheaper to pay 180$ for a year for years of 1 game than buy several & not like them & be out like 250$ or have bought that many & spent more. I dunno.

new part for the comp came in today ,,so maybe i will be able to use the huge ass vid card i bought then had to modify instead of it bieng a piece of shit sittin in a box that i paid alot of money for ,,(conversation piece) hopefully ,,if i can get it to work i will be lookin to get the game i spose and giving all this a whirl maybe
