Subject: Fight Wow Slayers are fun
Well, I decided to make a Slayer (named Spankatron (he will be officially called Spankatron John))............and..........wow they are actually really fun and tough.

I got him to L6 rr6 last night killing multiple RVR destro. I do miss the "in ur face" killing of a Melee class.

I think I will get Fundies to 30 then level this Slayer during off time so Fundies can get more rested EXP. I think it is much easier to level a second toon since I now know what is going on & where to go.
For some reason tho last night healers in T1 we ren't rezing anyone at all & very noobish. When I started my BW Fundies I got buffs & rezzez all the time in T1...weird......

I think IIRC your first rez cast comes at lvl 10.
If you get a rez in tier 1 it is most likely from a twink sticking around in the endless trial area.
:P
Great heals are hard to come by, though. *sigh* ...take it from a GREAT HEALER :D
I went back to playing my T2 Bright Wizard for a few nights after leveling out my Rune Priest to 40/48 and was SHOCKED at how SUCKY the heals were in a couple of the groups I joined...
Just no pride or work ethic amongst the younger healers out there, a shame, really...

First, just add to Strength, then Wounds, then Weapon Skill until about 36ish, then swap em around a bit. Once you get to 850+ Strength, get to 500+ Weapon Skill, then Wounds. You will need the HP. Toughness is a waste for us, Initiative is nice when you have it but not necessary at all. The rest, take only the trickle.

Slayers are fun, casters will burn you down quick and tanks will laugh at your tink tink. Healers on the other hand are food.

Speaking of healers, you will want to be near one...a lot. Slayers die quick, so you want someone near you to slow that down a bit. The longer you are alive, the more deadly you are. On specs, try to stay away from the burst/rage dumping skills. Only dump it when necessary or about to die. I am always in the red, mopping up the fools. Using two axes is better than one because you can Parry hits.

That should get you started. I love my Slayer. It was hard in the beginning to figure it out, but once I did (hitting 40 helped), they started dropping like flies.
