I have tried allot of joysticks and I keep coming back to the logitech EXTREME3DPRO. Despite the fact that they only last about a year under continued use they are awesome sticks. They use to only cost $25-$30. Not anymore. Logitech sticks are known for not lasting. Despite the amount of complaints over the years Logitech just does not care. To counter there lack of concern for there customers complaints and not improving there product but still increasing the price I pull the switch. Fuck them. Once a year I go pay cash for a brand new logitech extreme3dpro. I bring it home and clean up the old one with a really nice detail job. Stick the old, but spiffy looking, stick in the new box and take it back to the store for a cash refund. Wrong you say? Nope, its justice. I tried the wireless version but it does not have enough buttons. My thumb has access to 5 buttons plus an 8 direction hat switch. I use all the buttons on that thing and take advantage of its shift function that effects everything but the hat. Thats 24 programmable mech commands. I then use a wireless number pad for other needed but rarely used functions. The extremeedpro has a simple layout but is meant for right hand users only. The other sticks I tried had not enough buttons on them or just weirdly placed.
